MALAYSIA. Glenfiddich, the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, brings The Valley of the Deer to Kuala Lumpur from 27 - 30 May 2015 at Carcosa Kanpai Glenfiddich Seri Negara, offering Malaysians a rare behind-the-scenes look into what goes on at one of the world's most reputable single malt distilleries.
Named 'Distiller of the Year' and ‘Scotch Whisky Producer of the Year' at the prestigious International Spirits Challenge awards in 2017, William Grant & Sons distils some of the world's leading spirits and builds some of the most distinctive premium brands in the world.
Our aim was to create a fresh, new drinking moment for Glenfiddich and for the wider whisky category, by crafting an expression that plays on the liquid synonymous with celebration but that brings the substance and smoothness of single malt to the moment.
Next was the Process Room, a recreation of the distillery with a scaled down version of the entire whisky creation process - malting, mashing, fermentation, distillation and maturation - that included replicas of stills, and digital technology to enhance the experience.
The event was attended by Datuk Seri Michael Yam, Chairman of Eraman, Zulhikam Ahmad, General Manager of Eraman, Matthew Williams, Regional Director of Asia Pacific Global Travel Retail and Brett Bayly, Glenfiddich brand ambassador for South East Asia.
Have been appointed as William Grant & Sons' official importers to help distribute the market leading premium portfolio of brands within their stable. Our whisky is matured for 12 years in Olorosso, European oak sherry and American oak casks before being married by our Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, in specially designed, uniquely sized oak marrying tuns for 9 months.
Even a person like me who cannot take alcohol much and felt that the taste of alcohol was chunky - I personally felt this Glenfiddich 18yrs super smooth. His vibrant, multi-layered depiction of the imposing animal's 12-pointed antlers is masterful, while the flowing ribbon and medal around its neck symbolises Glenfiddich's status as the world's most-awarded single malt.
