This module will consolidate and advance work completed in year one, giving opportunities to explore texts and rehearsal techniques in detail, employing a variety of approaches and with a range of media as used by contemporary practitioners resulting in the deepening, extending and integration of the students acting technique.

Students will be able to use the University's extensive collection of musical equipment, including a piano, electronic keyboards and portable stereo systems, as well as technical equipment including Panasonic 151 HD cameras, rifle mikes, tripods and monitors, radio microphones, a mixing desk, and dictaphones for interviews and research.
To create a life on stage that is existing now; which is truthful and alive - moment to moment; performances which are dangerous in the sense that the actor doesn't' know what they are going to do in a seconds time and the audience certainly doesn't.
An accompanying Reflective Journal is an important part of the creative and analytical process during the performance modules; it is intended to explore the development of character, show social and historical research that has been undertaken, demonstrate significant analytical reflection on the student's personal journey through the production and present the development of a professional working experience.
