Karen Ritchie is a graduate of the four year program at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, receiving her Masters of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine in 2005 and is also certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (.). Karen received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from Indiana University in 1975.
Dr. Elli Reilander is a licensed naturopathic physician in Sidney, BC. She has completed a bachelor of science degree from the University of Victoria and a 4-year doctor of naturopathic medicine diploma from Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.



Dr. Astley is the past President of the Association of Complementary & Integrative Physicians of BC, and helped organize two successful conferences on Integrative Medicine held at the University of Victoria as well as The Art & Science of Somatic Meditation retreat at Royal Roads University.
Dr. Zhang completed a Bachelor of Medicine degree (specializing in acupuncture and moxibustion), a Master of Medicine degree (specializing in integrating TCM and modern medicine) and a PhD in Internal Medicine of TCM at the Chengdu University of TCM, Sichuan Province, China.

After a year and a half of observing a wide variety of health modalities at the hospital - including physiotherapy, chiropractic and western medicine - he then moved to southeast Thailand where he joined the team at Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary and Holistic Spa Resort.
After completing a 4-year Masters Program in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, she began her teaching career in Newfoundland Chinese Medicine Antigonish where she wrote the bulk of the curriculum for a 3-year acupuncture program and served as the Acupuncture Program Director.

Over the past 15 years, Lehe has participated in research initiatives exploring health and wellness in pregnancy, birth and postpartum and has developed programs alongside multidisciplinary colleagues to support improved outcomes and experiences in maternity care for families and students.
